Marvel Valentines to send to that special someone <3

One of my absolute favorite things about when Valentine's Day comes around each year is seeing the fandom valentines that people make, because they make me laugh so hard! People are so creative with them and they are so fun to send to your friends, especially the ones who also love the fandom as much as you do. So this year I wanted to make some of my own Marvel Valentines to share with you all that you can send to your friends, family, or significant other. Enjoy!

I thought it was pretty good actually. To me, it captured the essence of earlier MCU films (compelling stories, feels like everything can happen) while keeping Scott’s characteristic humour!

I do believe they spoon-fed the audience a little bit with all of the Kang stuff, I would rather have to figure it out myself but for new watchers, it makes perfect sense. They’ll understand the bulk of the story without background information.

I loved the multiple Ant-Men bit and the parallel they created with Cassie pulling Scott out, very much like in “Ant-Man” after the fight with Yellow Jacket. I’ll be honest, I didn’t particularly connect with M.O.D.O.K. Wasn’t funny to me and some of the lines felt out of place, forced or clumsy.

They got me good with the fight with Kang. I honestly thought Kang had been beaten and then that climax builds up into Scott almost not going through and being willing to sacrifice for his daughter (very much like Tony) with Hope coming in to save him. I truly thought he was staying in the quantum realm, and then I thought THEY were staying in the quantum realm!

The fake birthday was so cute, it puts into perspective the fact that being an avenger, beyond having to save the world, means putting everyone’s life before yours. To me the story felt very much like an Avenger not knowing what is next and wanting to spend time with family which they never really get to do. It ties in beautifully with Clint’s arc and connects these two characters.

The extra credit scenes were brilliant and I cannot wait to see more of Loki, with the hopes that he makes it back to the main timeline at some point. One can dream
