You guys, this trailer dropped today and I started SHAKING because I am so nervous about what is going to happen to Scott. I am always looking forward to whatever is next on the Marvel movie roster, but those of you who know me know how much Ant-Man means to me. I am SO NERVOUS about him for this film, but the trailer looks soooo so good. So let's break it down:
-Scott is SO happy in the beginning and that made me so happy to see. This poor man deserves every ounce of happiness, he has been fighting for a sense of normalcy since he left prison and every time he gets even a bit close he is thrown right back into a whirlwind. And of course we later find out that this movie is certainly no exception. -BASKIN ROBBINS IS BACK BABY I love that they awarded him "Employee of the Century" I DIED -The little kid with the Ant-Man backpack that he high-fived I'm 🥹 -Love to see Scott and Hope living it up on the red carpet THEY DESERVE THE HYPE underrated king and queen -"Thank you, Spider-Man!" TOOK ME OUT I COULDN'T BREATHE -I was so excited to see Cassie again!! And she said "that's why we made this". I'm curious who the "we" is. Her and Hope? Her and Scott (but it sounds like she's talking to Scott). Her and another Young Avenger? 👀 I NEED TO KNOW -Quantum Realm? More like Quantum Scaries because clearly it's dangerous according to Janet. -Scott screaming for Cassie made me ACTUALLY cry. Like literally physical tears pouring out of my eyes. I love their father-daughter relationship so much and I am SO scared for them to lose each other 😭 ALL SCOTT WANTED WAS TO SEE HER GROW UP AND I'M SO UPET ABOUT IT STILL, THE BLIP HURT MY FEELINGS OKAY -Okay but as scary as Janet says the Quantum Realm is, it's actually really beautiful. -Are there people living in the Quantum Realm? Who are these guys? -"What are you so afraid of?" "There's something I never told you" WELL WE BETTER LEARN, JANET, CUZ I'M WORRIED -I wanna know what that little orb thingy is that she had WHAT the heck is that? -They've got, like, Star Wars Cantina vibes going on with that quantum bar, I like it! -BILL MURRAYYYYYY -Was that like a creepy Quantum ant? I didn't like him, he looked mean :( -UM WHY WAS SCOTT DISINTEGRATING?! -Okay so just so you all know there IS in fact a Cassie Lang cosplay on my cosplay bucket list becauuuuuse I love her, and also her suit looks SICK and also I want to do a father-daughter cosplay with my dad because he has an Ant-Man suit now 🥹 -KANG IS NO FUN GET OUT OF HERE -AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am SO excited for this movie, and the trailer is only hyping up that experience. I am equal parts excited and nervous for this because I DON'T WANT TO LOSE SCOTT and I'm really nervous because I know he dies in the comics so that Cassie takes up the mantel in The Young Avengers (which it definitely seems like the MCU is setting up) SO HERE'S TO HOPING THAT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN BECAUSE I'M NOT READY FOR HIM TO DIE. Anyways, thank you all for reading my thoughts on this! Please share your own thoughts in the comments, I love to read what you are all thinking about as well! Hope everyone is having a quantum filled Monday!

Well, it's officially our first Thursday without an episode of She-Hulk! Anyone else missing it as much as I am? I feel like the show just started, like, yesterday! Time is so interesting. It moves so fast and so slow all at the same time. Which brings me to the topic of this week's blog post--- Halloween! Well, cosplaying, to be more exact. Including today, we are only 11 days away until Halloween. CRAZY, right? I honestly didn't even realize until last night when I was diving back into cosplay shopping and found that most websites said that they were closed for commission or even just out of stock on a lot of items! I always find it so difficult to pick a Halloween costume now that I've been cosplaying because I feel like every day is Halloween! And then trying to decide what cosplays to use for my costume each year is so difficult because they are just too many to choose from! I'd say that's a pretty good problem to have, though 😉 Anyways, since we're in the midst of spooky season, I thought I would put together a little blog post on where I got my cosplays! I get these questions a whole bunch on my videos and I really wanted to take some time to kind of lay it all out in one big post to make it easier to find things. I hope this helps! 1. Spider-Man Homecoming SuitPurchased from herostime.com This is by far one of my most asked about cosplays. This suit was my first official cosplay back in November of 2020. I had just started doing my skits on TikTok, and was SO excited when I was able to buy a cosplay that wasn't just closet cosplay! After doing a bit of research, I ended up buying a suit from herostime.com! They are a website that specializes in spandex and puff-paint suits. They have a variety of different characters from Marvel to DC to Disney and more! I ended up picking the suit that was titled "Spider-Man Homecoming Costume Movie TRAILER VERSION New Spiderman Cosplay Suit". A long title, I know 😅 The great thing about Herostime Spidey Suits is that the suit will start at a base price and increase as you add things that you want! So for example, the base price of the suit is $85 USD, but if you wanted to add shoes they would add $25 USD to your total order price. For my suit, I chose to add: -Custom Sizing This ended up being a really good choice for me because the suit fit like a glove! You take your measurements and put them into the website, and they will tailor the spandex to the measurements that you give them instead of just standard sizing. I felt that this made the suit so much more comfortable since it was adjusted to my body type. -Detachable Mask I do have a mask for my Spider-Man suit! I don't wear it often, but it felt wrong not to have a mask with it! You can choose to have the mask sewn onto the suit so that the suit is just one single piece, or pay an upcharge to have the mask detached. You just check it off at the bottom of the order form before hitting "Add to Cart"! -Version 3 Lens Style You can pick what lenses you want your Spidey mask to have! They have a picture with some options of what eye-lens styles to choose from. I ended up choosing V3 because I liked that the detailing wasn't super thin or super thick around the lens. -Standard Fit I didn't really feel the need to do a tighter or looser fit with my suit, especially since I was putting in custom measurements. Having had the suit now for almost two years, I am happy to report that Standard size was definitely the right one for me! -Add Leather Stripes You can see in the photo I have above that on the front of the suit gliding up by the sides of my abdomen I have some leather stripes! I added these to mine, as I felt it gave the suit more definition and made it look just that little bit more like the way it does in the movie. -Sewn in Shoes Having the shoes built into my suit was one of the BEST decisions I made when ordering. I was able to wear the suit without putting shoes over it, and it made wearing it to Comic Con so much more comfortable, and it even makes the suit look more realistic in my opinion! Just make sure to select your shoe size so they know what size to sew in! You can also ask for detachable shoes, as well! There is also an option to add thicker fabric, however I didn't feel the need to do that at all. I still get pretty warm with the suit on just wearing the standard fabric that they have, so I'm glad I decided to stick with the thinner fabric. You can also have them make the spider on the chest of the suit 3D and not just printed on. I didn't end up doing that, but it's definitely a cool option! 2. Ant-Man SuitPurchased from cossky.com Unfortunately, I cannot find the link to the Ant-Man suit that I have purchased anymore on the Cossky website. They may have taken it down because it's so close to Halloween right now! This is definitely the most intricate suit I own to date. There are a lot of pieces that come with this suit including: -Leather One-Piece Biker Suit -Suit Vest -Belt -Arm Plates -Gloves -Back Plate -Boots (optional) I believe there are many other cosplay companies that sell a similar version of this suit as well (my dad recently purchased one from Sim Cosplay for our trip to New York Comic Con a few weeks ago and he loved it!). It did not come with a helmet, so I ended up purchasing the Hasbro Marvel Legends Ant-Man Helmet to go with it. It definitely adds a lot to the suit, but be warned that there is a manufacturing issue with the helmet that the backplate doesn't snap closed all the way. If you're planning to wear it to a con, or out for Halloween, be careful! 3. Scarlet Witch WandaVision Finale SuitPurchased from herostime.com When I saw Wanda's new suit at the end of WandaVision I KNEW I had to add it to my cosplay bucket list! It is one of my favorite suits to date, and so beautifully made. I also purchased this one from herostime.com and it comes with: -Leather Pants -Corset with Attached Bottom Cape -Corset Decal (attached at the middle as seen in photo) -Velcro Girdle -Fingerless Arm-Length Gloves -Headpiece -Cloak with Hood (not pictured) In the show, Wanda also has boots that match her pants that are available to purchase on other websites, however I just used some black boots that I already had. I cannot even begin to explain how cool this suit makes me feel! 4. Kate Bishop SuitPurchased from Cossmile on Etsy If you've been following me for a while, you know how much I adore Kate Bishop. I see so so much of myself in her character, and getting to see her played by Hailee Steinfeld in the Hawkeye series was AMAZING. I knew I absolutely had to cosplay her as my next cosplay, so I jumped right into searching for where to purchase a suit. I found a company called Cossmile on Etsy, and they are amazing! Definitely my new favorite cosplay company to purchase from right now. They are so professional, answered any questions I had through Etsy DM, and got my suit to me relatively quickly. And the quality is spectacular! It came with: -Pants -Purple Top -One-Sleeved Coat -Gloves -Belt with Arrowhead Holder -Quiver -Quiver Strap -Leg Garter (not pictured) -Boots (optional, not pictured) Similar to my Wanda cosplay, I didn't feel the need to buy boots because I had some that I felt matched this cosplay well. But you can purchase them if you would like to through Cossmile! 5. Yelena Belova VestPurchased from Cossmile on Etsy This picture was from my Yelena Disneybound that I did at Disneyland Paris back in July of this year! I ended up finding this vest also from Cossmile (like I said, new favorite cosplay store 😜). If you are interested in getting the white Black Widow suit that Yelena wears with her vest in the movie, you can purchase it with the vest as well! Yelena was on to something because this vest is SO comfortable. You can choose whether you want the pockets to be functional or decorative, as well! Props, Closet Cosplay, and More!If you are looking for another cosplay/prop/etc that I use in my skits that I don't have listed here, you can find them on my Amazon Storefront! I also want to make you all aware that as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. This just means that if you purchase any of the items listed on my storefront, I earn a small commission from the purchase. As always, any support is appreciated but never expected!

Whether you are just starting, or have been cosplaying for years, getting to dress as your favorite characters is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Happy Cosplaying! I cannot believe that we are already at the season finale of She-Hulk! I have loved every single bit of this show, but I have to say I think this finale was my favorite episode of all. It was so off the rails and crazy at every turn! And I cannot WAIT to discuss all my favorite parts. If you want to hear me talking in depth about the episode on podcast format, I was on The Keeg Show this morning right after the episode dropped! It was 4:00 am for me! Pretty early, but this one was SO worth it. You can watch it HERE if you are interested! Otherwise....
SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9 OF SHE-HULK BELOW! Okay, there is SO much to talk about with this episode, so I'm going to take things one at a time. I know we're all REALLY looking forward to talking about that ending because, come on, that was WILD. But I will be going in order of appearance in order to keep my thoughts straight here. The nod to the vintage TV show in the beginning was SO awesome! From the outfits and hair styles right down to the grainy TV filter, it was so fun! And Jen just typing away back at Intelligencia was KILLING me. And theeeeen she woke up in the prison they had for Emil, and all my joy was SUCKED AWAY. I felt so bad, poor Jen! I've said this in so many of my posts, but she has been trying SO HARD to just live life and every episode she gets hit by something. And when she was trying to bargain with Mallory about how they can appeal in court, my heart was shattering for her. Watching her move out of her apartment was interesting to me, too. I'm curious why she just up and left? I know she lost her job, but I was surprised she couldn't keep her apartment. Either way, it made for some interesting plot when she moved back in with her parents. Not her mom putting the exercise machine in her room!! And she had a little No Way Home moment with all the news cast outside her window. At first I thought it was a good idea she went to Emil's retreat home, especially with everything going on. At least it would be quieter there and she could have time to escape from the noise of everything. No way at ALL did I see that plot twist coming that Emil was holding the Intelligencia meeting at his retreat. I feel like I should of, it seems like, obvious, but when I found out I LOST it. But before that, I was really just enjoying Pug and Nikki trying to help Jen out. It was awesome that Nikki was feeding him words through his little AirPod. It was also interesting to me, because I felt like this was part of the show's way of making fun of current Marvel discussion. A lot of what they were saying is a lot of the debates I've been hearing about on this show circulating on TikTok and Twitter since the very first episode. And the fact that they made it SUPER current by even talking about Jane as Thor was so interesting to hear. I felt like this was Marvel's way of subtweeting the haters of the show and showing them how they sound to everyone. And then Jen finds out. Ohhhh she finds out BIG time. And things hit the fan SO FAST. First of all, Emil just turning into the Abomination for motivational speaking had me CRYING. And then Titania showed up and I was low-key convinced she might be fighting for Jen because she missed being enemies with her AHAHA. Especially after reading a few She-Hulk comics lately, I felt like that was something she would totally do. And then BRUCE showed up again and I LOST IT because I love Bruce almost as much as I love Jen, so to see him return for the episode had me. And then-- Disney+ crashed. Well....we all know it didn't really crash. But they had me again, because I TOTALLY thought that my Disney+ just shut off. I was moving my hand to click back on the She-Hulk tab when Jen started talking again and OBLITERATED the fourth wall. Oh my god. This part was the start of my favorite section of this episode. I loved her just popping out of the screen and then jumping into the "Assembled" episodes. And then just walking around the Marvel Studios lot? Absolutely hilarious! I loved seeing that the actual writers of the show just hanging out in the writers room (like Jessica Gao) and the way they were like half-phased to see Jen. They were surprised but were also like "meh, it happens" HAHAH. And their refusal to let her talk to Kevin? Hilarious. No one talks to Kevin! Immediately followed by Jen scrolling through that multi-page NDA had me DYING. Especially where she is a lawyer and probably deals with that stuff ALL. THE. TIME. I'm also curious to know if the security guards she was throwing against the wall actually worked there? Like, did they ask them if they wanted cameos on the show? Or were they just stunt doubles haha! And then she's walking into the giant room. The giant office of Kevin. And I was thinking "This is it. We finally get a Kevin Feige cameo in the MCU! Here we go!" and.... AND THEN HE WAS A ROBOT AND I ABSOLUTELY LOST IT. No plot point has ever been as hilarious to me as the K.E.V.I.N. bot and the fact that they even gave him A LITTLE HAT?! LIKE IRL KEVIN? I'M CRYING YOU GUYS. And there was sO so much in that little snippet of conversation they had... First of all, K.E.V.I.N. telling her to de-Hulk-ify herself because the VFX team was busy working on something else (cue Wakanda music) was SO good. And then proceeding to tell her to do it off screen too HAHAH. I am crying. And I loved Jen debating with him on the way her own show ended. And Jen even vouching for what the fans want to! Give us the X-Men! I'm definitely going to have to rewatch the episode to really take in that conversation again, but I'm pretty sure she mentioned something about waiting until the movie to reveal something big? Was this the show hinting that Jen will be in a movie? That Mark's Hulk will get a solo film? I need to know! Though, then he followed it up by saying that Jen won't be on the big screen, so I don't know what to think. And then her calling out all the daddy issues?! I'M CRYING. But then Jen proceeding to tell him everything he needed to fix about the episode ending was so spot on, and even getting us more Daredevil!! YESSS!! I was so excited to see Matt back again. God, I need to catch up on the Daredevil show. I have loved seeing his character so very much. Good thing we have all this extra stuff to keep us entertained until Born Again! And I loved seeing him have dinner with Jen's family. It gave me Falcon and the Winter Soldier Oreo cake party vibes. And we can't finish this blog without talking about SKAAR?! BRUCE'S SON?! HELLO?! WHERE DID HE COME FROM?! I need to know more. I nEED to know. I mean I'm sure I could figure it out if I looked up some comics right now. But I think part of the fun is not knowing much about Skaar and waiting to learn more about him in the MCU! If someone told me about this finale and how the show ended, I literally would not have believed them until I saw it with my own eyes. This was by far the best season finale since the WandaVision finale. I'm so sad it's over! I'm going to miss Jen so much. Hopefully she makes her return in a movie or even a cameo in Daredevil at some point. What was everyone's favorite part of this one? I loved every second, but the K.E.V.I.N. bot was my all-time favorite hahah! I'll be continuing blog posts with each new Marvel release we have (Wakanda Forever, the Guardians Holiday Special, etc) but is there anything else you all would like to see blog posts about? Let me know in the comments! And for those of you who have been reading my blogs, it means the world to me! Thank you for being here and supporting my little corner of the internet. You guys are the best. Sending lots of love to you, and I hope you all have an amazing weekend. -Jess (@femalepeterparker) Hi friends! I am back from New York Comic Con, and here to talk about the newest Marvel project that we've gotten this past week--Werewolf by Night! My initial thoughts on this project before watching it was that it gave me a lot of Twilight Zone vibes. The fact that it was entirely in black-and-white and had that kind of vintage feel to it made it a very interesting concept just from the trailer. I also found it interesting that Michael Giacchino not only was in charge of the scoring for this, but also directed as well! I've always been such a fan of his scores from other films, so when I heard he was directing this as well I was really excited to see how it came out!
Overall I felt that the plot of the show was really good. I think they did a great job of adding a horror element to the MCU without making it too gory. As someone who doesn't do well with horror and gore, I was super thankful for this fact. I still wanted to be able to watch and enjoy it without having to hide behind my pillow the whole time, hahah! But I also ended up watching this on the train ride home on my phone too, which I think definitely helped since it was on a smaller screen and I couldn't get scared as easily :p I really liked the concept of Elsa coming back to reclaim a family heirloom. I just wish we got more of her backstory! Why did she leave her family? Who was "training" her, as she stated? She was such an interesting character that we only knew a small amount about. I also instantly fell in love with Jack and his kind heart. At first I thought he was just someone who really cared about monsters and wanted to protect them, but it made a whole lot more sense when we found out that he was actually one of them! I don't know why I didn't see that plot point coming, but it was certainly a surprise to me! I also couldn't tell if Verusa was her stepmother? Her mother? My guess is stepmother but it's still a little unclear to me. Maybe my post NYCC exhaustion was just tripping my brain up a little too much hahah! Also Ted was SO cute when he wasn't incinerating people! I loved how he was there for his buddy Jack at the end of the special. You could tell he really saw them as friends and wanted to return the favor for Jack protecting him rather than hunting him. We love a monster-friendship! I really do hope that we get more of Elsa and Jack (and Ted!) in the future of the MCU! I'm curious if/how they can tie them into future projects and if they would be from the 616 universe or tied in another way. I guess only time will tell! It will be fun to look back on this blog post one day and just tell past-Jess all the ways the MCU has changed since Werewolf by Night! What did you guys think? Was it a fun addition to your Halloween specials for this October? Or would you rather not watch again? You guys. YOU GUYS. I am SCREAMING OVER THIS SHE-HULK EPISODE! This was the best one yet!!! I’m literally writing this blog on a train to NYCC right now (but because of lack of computer I probably won’t be able to post this until Saturday 🥲) but I NEED TO get my thoughts down before I forget.
Obviously, spoilers for this episode so GET OUT if you haven’t seen it! Okay okay, first of all AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Okay, let me compose my chill so I can talk instead of just SCREAMING THROUGH MY PHONE about how excited I am about this episode. I can’t I can’t I can’t I CAN’T. Okay, one step at a time, Jess. Leap Frog, or whatever his name was, was not my fave this episode. Which like, yeah, that’s the point hahah 😂 but ESPECIALLY when he was trying to blackmail Luke. Nuh-uh. Not on my watch 😤 Luke is such a fun character I love him! I was so happy at the end when he still agreed to make Jen’s Gala dress. But we have to talk about the best part—THE BEST PART—of the episode. DAREDEVIL! Oh my god he was so worth the wait you guys. It was so good to finally see him in action, but the episode was so perfect. Both lawyer Matt AND Daredevil Matt this episode?! We were BLESSED. And seeing Jen’s relationship with him was a 10000000/10. Like, so so so good. I freaking adored the whole thing. I really hope we get a Jennifer Walters cameo in the Daredevil show, dear god. His little walk of shame towards the end, too, DESTROYED ME. And their little quips back and forth with each other (like the echo location joke) was GOLD. God, I love them. New favorite ship forever. Matt and Jen for life ♥️💛💜💚. But wow what a WHIPLASH this episode gave us because my emotions went from extremely happy and excited to GUTTED in about ten seconds. STUPID JOSH I HATE HIM. Poor poor Jen, I can’t even imagine how she must be feeling right now with the leaked footage. Ugh, she doesn’t deserve this. Jen deserves to be happy too you guys 😭😭 Also a side thought, but when Jen was talking to that guy about the Wakandan spear, I was convinced it was going to be tied to the auction in Hawkeye. Maybe I just miss Kate too much 😂😂 I can’t wait for the season finale. I feel like there’s still a lot to wrap up, but I guess we shall see! What was everyone’s favorite part of this episode? I’m still screaming 🙈 Also, while I have you all, be sure to catch me on The Keeg Show this upcoming week for our She-Hulk season finale break down! We’ll be debriefing right after the episode airs at 3 AM EST/ 12 AM PT and you can find the livestream on Keeg’s Twitch channel! Hope to see you all there! |
